At a Decision of the Tripartite Commission
PRISCILA TOMMY from Vanuatu
received an INVITATION PLACE FOR
THE GAMES OF THE XXIX OLYMPIC GAMES
BEIJING 2008
The Tripartite Commission (which is composed of the IOC, ANOC and the
International Federations) decided to allocate an invitation place for the
Singles Table Tennis event of Beijing Olympic Games to
Priscila TOMMY (Vanuatu) (Women’s singles)
In making its decisions, the Tripartite Commission has
sought to uphold the objective of these invitation places, which is to
promote the universality of the Olympic Games. Consequently, National
Olympic Committees that have traditionally sent small delegations to the
Olympic Games (less than 6 athletes) or that have yet to qualify athletes
for Beijing have been given priority to the places.
Congratulations Priscila & Vanuatu from all Oceania Table Tennis
